I present to you Eight Sentence Sunday, a blog hop hosted by Weekend Writing Warriors. I finished National Novel Writing Month in November, this is the last month I'm working on it. After that there will be something new! "We need money to get supplies to fix the ship, so I'm working as a delivery person."
"This whole city is falling apart and you're worried about being a delivery person to save yourself." "Well when you put it like that." "We're going to go look at the things that are collapsing and see if there's a way to fix them." "Maybe we can get the town to land safely. That'll make it easy for us to get home." "The whole place would collapse as it settled on the hill. Do you think of these things?" "Not really, that's your job."

Interesting conversation. It makes me want to know more about this world.

That's your job! A cavalier attitude but at least he has a goal . . . and will probably end up saving them all.

Even when he hears about the place falling apart, which makes me wonder about him.

I am so curious. What's happening outside the dialogue? They're in a flying town?
