For those tuning into this round my master goals list is here. The master list of those participating in this round is here. I personally format my check-ins as an after action review, then the setting of intentions/minigoals for the next check-in. Please leave a comment, even if it's not related to the goals I don't mind, it's nice to know that someone sees this page!
AFTER ACTION REVIEW Big Goals: 1) Wrote one of the journal entries. The other's due date was delayed so I put it off a bit as well. I wrote another 4 pages for creative writing. I also reviewed the syllabus which says that I need an additional 8 pages of new material, but it doesn't need to be shared with the critique group. Thus I'm going to continue this piece (the start of another novel) until those 8 pages are done before turning it in. 2) I did completely prioritize the changes that need to be made to the book, but I just wasn't ready to start working on those changes yet. Possibly a little hang up from the last editing saga which was excessively mentally taxing. I will start it this week, though I will also slow down to more bite sized chunks in my editing goals. If I know that I can achieve it then I should be less likely to avoid it. 3) I didn't quite study every day, but I did sit down and catch up by doing 45minutes over the weekend. Not ideal, but I got the time in, and that is what I need right now. I've been playing with the kanji phone app and found a new way for the flashcards to work. I now have them only show me the words around the kanji, and then have myself choose from eight choices what should be there. I suspect that this will be fantastic for me for two reasons; the first is that I gain a lot of reading comprehension from context (this is true for both English and the French that I managed to understand) and the second is that a lot of Japanese words have a specific meaning within their context. The more exposure I have to these combinations the better understanding I should have of the language as a whole. Small Goals: 1) I ended up posting ~35 items on eBay. That's what I had prepped at the time and is a solid start, though not quite my goal of 50. I suspect it's really better for me, and my goal achieving, to keep the initial goal low and then overachieve. The last couple times I thought I'd post 10 and then posted 50 anyways. On the plus side there was a special deal going on which means all of those items went up for free and I still have an additional 50 slots to use! 2) Nothing planned, nothing done. 3) Read a bit more of the book in progress and completed the first season of a podcast called "Magnus Archives". It's quite good, though being the first season the audio levels are a bit off. 4) Overachieved! I started and finished reading "Leadership and Self-deception." It was an interesting read, not because it had a lot of new material, but because this put into words a transformation I had when I was 14 that turned me from an ever-angry teenager to the person I am today. I was a great read and I would recommend it to many, though I suspect that most writers have made the discoveries in this book already. 5) I have been flinging at least 5 things from the garage and basement every day. Instead of doing either of my two outside projects to completion I did half of both. I think I was ready to see some major improvements without expending a ton of energy. Overall it'll work out in the end. I often get in the mood to get a project off of my plate, and when that happens I'm sure these goals will get completed quickly. INTENTIONS/MINI-GOALS Big Goals: 1) Write the delayed journal entry for world civ. Write journal entry for creative writing. Write at least two more pages for creative writing. 2) Complete the one most important edit in the book. 3) Studying for 15 minutes a day! Small Goals: 1) Post another 5 items on eBay. Keep up with the sales. 2) Iron sign. Check inventory. Start to pack car for event Friday. 3) Autopilot. I'll probably continue to catch up on the podcast, so keeping it simple with the physical book. 4) Start reading "Success Principles". 5) It'll be raining all week so keeping it simple. 5 thing fling garage and basement. Anything else is bonus.

Some of my goals follow through to the next round, and some need the rest of the month to finish, so I'll be doing mini checkins to keep up with them until Round 2 starts. I personally format my check-ins as an after action review, then the setting of intentions/minigoals for the next check-in.
AFTER ACTION REVIEW 1) 50/50 here. I choose a topic for my research paper; shinto shrines. I did not write two scenes for the Mars PI project. I did write the next journal entry for world civ. I did not do the journal entry for creative writing. 2) Overachieved here by sending *all* the contracts and followed up with everyone who does not have the final edit to us yet. Over 75% are complete, which is pretty darn good and keeps us even a bit ahead of schedule. 3) Solid progress. Watched three more documentaries and watching another one right now. Only three more after this and I'll be done with this section of the research. 4) No progress, simply didn't have time to work on meditations while focusing on goal 2. MINIGOALS/INTENTIONS 1) Call into two classes. Do one journal entry for creative writing. Write two more scenes and turn in the piece for creative writing. 2) Keep up with the email account. Consider sending the first email to the line editor, depending on how many contracts come back. 3) Finish watching the documentaries on my list. 4) This will be the focus for Tuesday. Revise all meditations and record new ones. For those tuning into this round my master goals list is here. I personally format my check-ins as an after action review, then the setting of intentions/minigoals for the next check-in.
AFTER ACTION REVIEW Big Goals: 1) Success! Called into both classes. Wrote both papers and handed them in. Typed up the edits on my short story and sent that in. Finished a journal and handed that in. (Busy week!) 2) Caught up! All emails sent that needed to get sent. 3) Managed to do this every other day. As I said last checkin I'll be doubling down on this soon, but not this exact moment. 4) Watched another two documentaries. I didn't realize I had so many on my list, so I'll continue to watch them until I decide to find another resource. Small Goals: 1) Didn't do well the first two days. Did do well today, and I think that's because I went to bed early. 2) Went to bed early last night and I can feel it in my bones. Much better sleep and overall a better day today for it. 3) Nothing, as planned. 4) Mailed out two more. 5) Sent an additional email. It looks like they've got a virus, thus sending spam. So I won't expect an email back right away. 6) Nothing special. 7) Already complete. Some of my goals follow through to the next round, and some need the rest of the month to finish, so I'll be doing mini checkins to keep up with them until Round 2 starts. MINIGOALS/INTENTIONS 1) Choose a topic for the research paper. Write another two scenes for Mars PI project. Next journal entry for World Civ. Next journal entry for creative writing. 2) For all people who are done send contracts. For those not done send followup emails on Sunday. 3) Continue to watch more documentaries or otherwise continue research. 4) Revise all meditations and record new ones. For those tuning into this round my master goals list is here. I personally format my check-ins as an after action review, then the setting of intentions/minigoals for the next check-in.
Posting this a bit late. I'm not sure what's up right now but I've been extra tired the last couple of days and just feel asleep anytime I had the time to do my ROW 80 post. Is it the weather? Daylight savings time? My new bottle of D3 vitamins? I wanna know soon, in order to do something to counteract it, I need my energy back! Honestly some of me feels that this is so late I should just skip it, but another half knows that this is super useful and needed for prioritizing/appreciating things in my life. In my attempt to listen to myself more I'm going with the second feeling. This is an important part of my life now, and it deserves the time, even if it's late. Also, to finish these goals properly I'll probably need the rest of the month. Everything that can be wrapped up early is, but Big Goal One won't be taking a break at all, and Big Goal Two is based on having the whole month. I think I might post a couple extra blog posts just related to those until they're complete. We'll see. AFTER ACTION REVIEW Big Goals: 1)I have edited my short story! I still need to type the edits into the computer, but one small step at a time. I also went on my date to the art museum, it was a great time, and probably one of the largest museums I've ever gone to. The related paper didn't get done over the weekend, though it has been done since. I'll be double mentioning it in tomorrows ROW80 post. 2) I cleared the inbox and sent a number of additional emails, though not all of them. I also read the first chapter of the novels and posted my thoughts on the subject. 3) I ended up studying Japanese for 15 minutes twice during the time frame, which is ok. I'll be doubling down on this next round, so this will be the last couple of times where I give myself slack on this goal. 4) I watched quite a few great documentaries so far. (I've even been doing the stepper while watching them! Win!) I've been aiming for one a day, so that I'm properly prepared for editing next round. Small Goals: 1) Since daylight savings time it's been tough to get up on time, and I'm still not into m new routine as much as I'd like to be. Trying to be patient with myself, I was doing really well and then it just got thrown off. 2) The before bed routine is a bit better. I should probably go to bed earlier and take the time to read more. Again small steps. 3) I didn't listen to my meditations. My wireless headset is broken right now (new one on it's way) so that's been putting a damper on this. 4) Going well. I've been selling a handful more things and shipping them out in a reasonable time frame. 5) Waiting. 6) Finished another audiobook! 7) Finished reading 7 habits! That means this goal is complete for this round! INTENTIONS AND MINIGOALS Big Goals: 1) Call into both classes. Write both papers and hand in. Type up edits, then submit short story for critique. Do quick creative writing journal. 2) Finish sending poetry emails. Send followup emails to those who aren't done with their edits. 3) 15 minutes of studying Japanese every day. 4) Watch at least one more documentary. Small Goals: 1) We'll start back at the beginning. Try to wake up and get up at 6AM. 2) Again starting with the basics. In bed with phone off at 10PM every day. 3) Nothing. I'm simply going to wait until my new headset is in. 4) Autopilot. 5) Send another email to the local library and see if they'd like to host. At worst I'll be doing three workshops instead of two. 6) Autopilot. 7) Done. Thanks for reading! For those tuning into this round my master goals list is here. I personally format my check-ins as an after action review, then the setting of intentions/minigoals for the next check-in.
Monday involved a particularly bad headache. Tuesday was great and today was medium. Therefore some stuff got done, but not everything I hoped. What do you do to try and get stuff done on bad days? AFTER ACTION REVIEW Big Goals: 1) I DID actually write the new short story. I even got it typed onto the computer and printed off for editing. Did not write the journal entry for world civ because the assignment isn't posted yet and I don't wanna write up the entry on the wrong topic. 2) I sent the first five emails but wasn't up for sending any today. Did some email, there's one left in there that I need to take care of. Again, not something that I'm going to do with my mental power right now. 3) I studied Japanese on the app three times and made an effort to translate one line of the easy Japanese news site. It took a long time and I still have a lot of progress to go before I'm fluent. 4) Ended up watching one more documentary between then and now, and it wasn't what I was hoping for. Ended it early and moving onto the next one. Small Goals: 1) Day light savings time is the worst. End of goal. 2) The before bedtime habit isn't going wonderfully, even after changing out the bedside book choice. I've been trying to do more in the evenings, perhaps being a little more choosy in my goals will help this out. 3) I listened to two audio meditations despite the fact that my headset has lost power to the left side. These headphones have lasted me years, so I'm sure it's past time for their replacement. 4) Sold six more items and shipped them out! I'm pretty close to 50 sales now which is beyond my hopes and dreams for this goal! 5) More waiting. 6) Been enjoying the audiobook "Fractured" by Karin Slaughter. 7) Finished reading habit 6! One more left~ INTENTIONS AND MINIGOALS Big Goals: 1) Edit short story. Go on a date to the art museum then write up a paper on it. 2) Clear inbox. Send five emails a day. Read novel. 3) Study Japanese some every day. 4) Finish watching documentaries I found. Then find some new resources to read. Small Goals: 1) Keep at it. 2) Keep at it. 3) Listen to audio meditations once a day. 4) Autopilot eBay sales. 5) Wait. 6) Autopilot. 7) Finish reading habit 7. -Shannon For those tuning into this round my master goals list is here. I personally format my check-ins as an after action review, then the setting of intentions/minigoals for the next check-in.
It was a fine weekend where I did some reading, cooking, gaming, and even a bit of TV watching. (A rarity for me!) Overall relaxing and low key, charging up for some of the big actions that'll be happening this week. What do you do to relax and recharge? AFTER ACTION REVIEW Big Goals: 1) Didn't actually get around to any of this. It's still a holiday week at school, so my mind just didn't get the oomph that it normally does. 2) Followed up on meeting and cleared the inbox. Did not get ahead in the emails, that's the next step. 3) Did so some Japanese study. Put one of my old phone apps back on the front screen and that's helping. Did at least two sessions of 10 minutes on it. 4) I watched three documentaries so far! (One of the pluses of a light weekend!) I have a couple more to watch, then I'll be moving onto firsthand accounts in written format. Small Goals: 1) Good! I did well waking up early and taking the time to work on stuff before the day started, particularly eBay. 2) I have been going to bed on time or early, but haven't been reading or doing as much of my cooldown. I think that my overall stress levels are down so I need the cooldown less, which is certainly nice! 3) Guess what, I didn't end up recording more meditations again. I did schedule it for a different day this time, so I need to do something else about it this week. I'm not sure what though. 4) Instead of posting one a day I took a chunk of weekend time again and posted the rest of my 50 free items for the month. This ended up catching up to everything that I've put aside so far for eBaying thus far, which is super exciting. I'm sure I'll find more to sell as I continue to clean the house, and if I don't there is always Etsy. That being said, I'm past my $1,500 goal for this quarter, so I'm going to put this on autopilot as I focus on finishing the other goals. 5) I did follow up with both libraries. One is officially confirmed, the other didn't respond yet. 6) Finished reading the book. It was ok, but I could tell that it was an adaptation from a different format. 7) I thought that I wasn't reading habit 4 last check in, but I was. So I ended up reading habit 4 and 5. INTENTIONS AND MINIGOALS Big Goals: 1) Actually write the new short story. Also write a journal entry for world civ. 2) Clear the inbox. Send 5 emails a day until I'm caught up with the poetry section. 3) Do ten minutes a day from: Japanese book, Japanese news translation, or phone app. 4) Continue to watch documentaries. Small Goals: 1) Keep at it. 2) Keep at it. 3) Listen to audio meditations once a day. 4) Autopilot eBay sales. 5) Wait. 6) Autopilot, since this is finished for the quarter. Which doesn't mean I won't read, but does mean that it's not a focus and doesn't get a minigoal. 7) Finish reading habit 6. -Shannon For those tuning into this round my master goals list is here. I personally format my check-ins as an after action review, then the setting of intentions/minigoals for the next check-in.
It was a little weird this week, as I didn't use my masterlist or make mini to do lists for most of it. I just did the most important things and relaxed with the rest. It was odd, but quite pleasant and less stressful. I'm not sure if it'll keep up, we'll see. AFTER ACTION REVIEW Big Goals: 1) I wrote an outline for the short story that was making me laugh outloud. I'll get it down on paper soon, but with this being a holiday week at school it isn't a rush. 2) Cleared the inbox completely including a couple new pieces. Still need to followup on the meeting minutes etc. 3) Have been looking around for luggage deals, but nothing has caught my eye yet. I read the Japanese book once, but missed the other two days in exchange for lunchtime events. I find if I don't do this during lunch it doesn't get done at all. 4) Did not do my research. Small Goals: 1) My morning routine has been going great. I put myself to bed early twice this week and then got up early twice as well. I thought it was impossible to get up before 7, but apparently I'm learning new things! 2) My before bed routine is reasonable. I changed out the book I'm reading before bed, but still am not getting to it every day, though to be fair I've been putting myself to bed early due to being tired, and thus falling asleep right away. 3) Listened to my meditations twice. I really should update them to be a little more accurate and interesting. This weekend! 4) Kept up with my eBay sales, there were quite a few! I did not post new items yet, I've been talking to the SO about selling a few unused Warhammer figures, so those will be next. 5) Nothing, as planned. 6) Did not finish the book I intended. Did finish the audiobook instead. It was very good! 7) I meant to read habit 4, but there was an unaccounted for connector chapter that I read instead. INTENTIONS AND MINIGOALS Big Goals: 1) Get new short story down on paper, edit once, submit to creative writing class. Write journal entry for world civ. 2) Follow-up on meeting agenda. Clear the inbox before next check in. Work on poetry emails. 3) Make the time for studying Japanese. I think the problem is that my goal is far out compared to the rest; September. Thus I don't feel the urgency. I need to make it more of a priority. 4) Research! Find some good resources! Small Goals: 1) Keep at it. 2) Keep at it. 3) Update audio meditations and record more. This time it's scheduled for Saturday. 4) Keep up with sales. Post Warhammer items. At the end of the round (which is coming up soon!) I'm going to put together my total and put that as a major payment towards my student loans. 5) Followup with libraries. 6) Finish physical book. Less than 50pages left. 7) Finish reading habit 4 of 7 habits of highly effective people. Thanks for reading! Shannon For those tuning into this round my master goals list is here. I personally format my check-ins as an after action review, then the setting of intentions/minigoals for the next check-in.
The second half of the week had more time, but with lofty goals not everything got done. I did a rotation on Saturday between the big goals and the smaller goals, so actually quite a bit got done around the house. The laundry is officially caught up and *everything* is put away. *All* of my fanart is on the walls now, with a couple pieces voted off of the island. AFTER ACTION REVIEW Big Goals: 1) Made a date for the museum trip in three weeks. It'll be a lovely day trip. Still have to decide the restaurants though~ I didn't write anything on a short story and I don't think I'll get to it for a bit. I'm mostly ahead of schedule right now, so as long as I keep it in mine that's ok. I did read and respond to the two discussion pieces, they were really quite good! (It made me feel bad about submitting two pieces that were freshly written/really rough. But I wanted the feedback early, since they were experimental pieces.) 2) I had set a lofty goal of getting all 12 done. I managed a solid 8. I'm a little disappointed that I didn't get to all of them, but I'm trying to convince myself that it's fine. Major progress was made, and the rest is quite manageable. (I mean it's a 66% right, which is barely passing, but passing.) 3) Did not watch the movie again, got far too caught up in finishing the self defensive driving course. Did read the book twice and listen to two movies though. As the countdown gets closer the need to focus on this more grows, so I'll continue to increase the goal, even if I'm not reaching it 100% of the time. 4) I did finish lesson 7 with the challenge. Nothing too crazy, though some interesting ideas rolling around for another novel now. Small Goals: 1) Success! I've been waking up with my first alarm and getting stuff done in the morning. The neck stretches have been helping with the tension I often keep in my upper back. Overall a big win! 2) The evening routine has been going ok. Not reading as much as I should before bed, and not always taking the time to relax that I should. That being said I've been sleeping like a rock and having plenty of dreams, so I don't think it's a problem either. 3) I listened to some meditations, but didn't manage to record anything new. 4) I set my sights high and I accomplished a bit, but not all. The defensive driving class is complete, though it ended up taking 8 hours, not 6. Still, I spent 25$ to take it, and it'll be saving me 140$ each year for the next three years. So financially worth it, though I don't feel that I learned much from it. If anything it made me feel like I'm a better driver than I realized, and I'm not sure that's really a great mindset for defensive driving. The second half of this goal was to post more on eBay. I didn't end up posting all 50 items, but I did post 9, and 2 of them already sold. Apparently I'm getting better at pricing. These two sales also put my total above $100 from eBay! I should do something to reward myself, but I'm not sure what yet. Maybe more forgiveness for not getting to my other goals :P 5) Nothing, as planned. 6) Took some time to read a manaa, and while it's not a novel it's still listed on Goodreads, so it counts towards my yearly reading total. (Plus now I know that it was only ok and I can send it onto a friend I know will like it.) 7) I did get a rough draft done of my mission statements. I'm going to mull them over for a couple more weeks while I define and expand and detail them a bit more. But I won't let that stop me from reading further in the book. INTENTIONS AND MINIGOALS It's going to be a super busy week, so these goals are about treading water, so that I'm not overwhelmed next week. Big Goals: 1) Attend classes. Turn in homework in world civ. Turn in two small homeworks for creative writing. 2) Do the four remaining pieces and send them back by Wednesday. Anything else that comes in during that time can wait until after the Wednesday checkin. 3) Read the book three times. Watch two videos. Look up and bookmark the easy Japanese news site. Someone recently mentioned that translating the articles on there was a great way to improve basic Japanese, so I'm thinking about trying that out when I have time. 4) Read and do the challenge for lesson 8. Small Goals: 1) Keep at it, but if I need to sleep in because I got to bed late that's ok. 2) Honestly I'm not going to be getting to bed early. I'll try to get to bed as early as I can, and be nice to myself as much as possible. 3) Listen to meditations 3 times. 4) I have one particular box of stuff that I'd like to get posted on eBay this month. If I can get more that would be awesome, but with the time I don't have right now I think that this is more realistic. Before checkin on Wednesday make sure that the safe driving course got credited to my insurance account, or otherwise followup. 5) Nothing. 6) Nothing planned. 7) Start to read habit 3. How has your February been? -Shannon For those tuning into this round my master goals list is here. I personally format my check-ins as an after action review, then the setting of intentions/minigoals for the next check-in.
Things are going pretty well! I got back from vacation and am feeling pretty refreshed and full of energy. We got a storm while snowboarding, which is the best thing, so we ended up with eight inches of fresh powder. It's perfect for snowboarding! I set some goals on Monday to get back into the swing of things, I was feeling a bit lost without them. Ended up doing pretty well on them, which is good because things are only going to be ramping up from here. AFTER ACTION REVIEW Big Goals: 1) Classes attended and homework is all set. Even ahead of schedule. 2) Recorded the (many) edits that we've received and started to review them. Managed three, which is less than I was hoping, though realistically it was what I had the time for. I also emailed and got confirmation from the line editor. 3) Watched some videos and read the Japanese book. 4) Finished reading the lessons and going through the three challenges. Small Goals: 1) Morning habits went reasonably, particularly considering the fact that I just got back from vacation. I was able to get up with my alarm and have been doing work in the morning. 2) Before bed habits have also been going reasonably too, though also happening a bit later than the ideals. 3) Listened to my meditations twice. 4) Kept up with eBay. Signed up for and OVERACHIEVED by doing the first hour of the self driving course. It cost 25$, but I should be getting $140 back per year for the next three years. Certainly a worthy investment. Also, as a personal win, I forgot my lunch Tuesday and because I was determined to not to spend money I cleaned out my snack drawer and put together a reasonable lunch from it. Also some might remember my goal to stay within my budget for my vacation. I am happy to report that I ended up $60 under budget, so that's a solid cost savings! 5) Nothing, no surprise. 6) Finished the audiobook and finished a chapter of the physical book. 7) Finished the whole of habit 2 of 7 habits and have been thinking about it a lot. To be talked about more below. INTENTIONS AND MINIGOALS Big Goals: 1) Make a date for the museum trip. (Yes this is homework.) Write another 1,500 words on a short story. Respond to two discussion pieces. 2) Honestly it's a lofty goal, but I'd like to review all 12 stories that we've gotten edits for so far. 3) Watch the Japanese movie again. Read the book twice. Listen to two videos. 4) Read lesson 7 and do challenge. Small Goals: 1) I'm adding a part to my morning habits that I should have added a while ago, neck stretches for at least five minutes. Trying to keep with the previous habits, along with adding this new one. 2) Same as always, with particular focus on trying to get to bed on time, or even ahead of time! 3) I'm tying this to my goal from small goal 7. I'd like to record at least one new meditation based on the stuff I write up for that. Bonus goal of another meditation for traveling. 4) This is a stretch, but I'd like to post 50 new items for sale on eBay. Another big goal is finishing the defensive driving class. It should really be done this week, since my insurance payment is next month. It'll be a time sync, but it shouldn't be too strenuous. 5) Nothing. 6) No specific goal. I'm pretty ahead here and there are other bigger goals to work on. 7) I just finished the second habit from 7 Habits. One of the big parts of it is writing ones own mission statement, and then some affirmations related to it. I'd like to take an hour to sit down with this and write some stuff out, then make it into a meditation in small goal 3. What's your mission statement? For those tuning into this round my master goals list is here. I personally format my check-ins as an after action review, then the setting of intentions/minigoals for the next check-in.
I finished out a couple big chunks right in time for the midway point on this 80 journey~ It wasn't intended for that time slot, it was due to me going on vacation this upcoming week and wanting to make sure everything was done so that I could freely relax, but it's a nice quiescence. Onto the goals! AFTER ACTION REVIEW Big Goals: 1) Responded to a couple emails from the professors, but otherwise nothing done because I'm all caught up! 2) Completed the next major step here! All emails for the upcoming anthology have been sent and all critiques are up to date! This was the big goal, because I know getting it done early would make life easier for everyone in the long run. 3) Big successes here too! Finished watching the movie. I think I can watch it a couple more times, and it's easy to watch in sections, during lunch or what have you. The idea is that I'll be able to think back to the dialogue of the movie whenever I need a reference on how to pronounce something. I also watched Sweetness and Lightening. It was adorable as always and I did understand more of it than before, but not as much as I would like to. 4) Doing lesson 3 took longer to get around to than I would have liked. Starting to write a piece with comedy in mind is out of my comfort zone. But earlier today I sat my butt down and did it, and I think it turned out pretty well! That was a pleasant surprise. My previous posts have been saved and responded to as needed. Overall solid. Small Goals: 1) The morning schedule went very well for the end of the week. I got a new pillow which I think is helping me sleep, although it's also really stirring up some long and weird dreams. 2) I did get more sleep! In fact I put myself to bed early one night almost by accident. I haven't been reading before bed and I would like to get back to that. I suspect it's because the bedside book right now is a bit tough to read. I might need to drop it, we'll see. I'd like to give it another chapter or two. 3) Listened to my audio meditations twice. I feel ready to make a new one, but don't have the time right now. Perhaps I'll write down a draft, we'll see. 4) Overachieved! I canceled three auto subscriptions to save $270! I also remembered an old investment account I had put money into years ago. I looked over the return rate, and it's less than the interest rate on my student loans. Thus I'm liquidating it, although it can't be done quickly due to the nature of things. I got $30 out of it this month and I should get similar chunks from it over the next couple months. It's feels like finding money in your pocket~ Lastly I took advantage of a free listings sale that eBay had up to post an extra 20 items or so. I'm saving my normal 50 free listings for after my vacation. It's nice to find things around the house that we've been meaning to get rid of and finding out it's worth something on eBay. Plus the item gets a second life helping someone else. That's a win/win/win in my book. 5) Nothing, as planned. 6) Finished one of my audio books and made major progress in the other. Haven't sat down to read much lately though. 7) Did read this a couple times during lunch. We're at an interesting section about figuring out values that I definitely want to dive deep into!
