Progress since last month:
I've decided to put this goal on hold until next year. It's not what I need to be focusing on over the next three months.
I started some, outlined others, did more research for many. With so many stories in the works it's hard to list everything out. One of the reasons I'm rescheduling goal one is to get the time to finish some of these stories before the end of the year.
I decided on a personal Wiki to use for my cataloging. Information from Moon Murder draft 1 is, slowly, moving into it.
Up to date.
Scheduled a number of events for the upcoming NNWM.
I responded to the single critique submission and did not submit myself. I've gotten get back on this!
I did finish the full novel critique for a friend. She loved the feedback, and it'll definitely help her define the outline for her next novel which she'll be writing for NNWM.
Going well! Posting on Instagram at least once a week and blogging at least once a week. No new accounts yet, but I'd rather keep up with the content first.
Bonus goal of reading and reviewing a piece for a friend - not touched yet. Soon!
Quantifying goals for the upcoming month:
One short story needs to get written and submitted by Oct 1st. Ideally I'll finish writing it soon, submit it to the critique group, and then get in one round of revisions before submission. Two other short stories are ready to be written if I can find the time and energy to put them on paper. Stretch goal: finish three short stories and at least one round of edits on another short story.
By the end of September I'd like to have all of Moon Murder in the wiki. After that I want to start working on an outline and fleshing out the wiki with new and interesting world building and character backstory.
Keep up to date with the videos. Make a writers toolbox reference piece once they're done.
By the end of the month I should have all of my pep talks written and sent to my beta reader. Continue to schedule events with libraries and coffee shops.
Submit four pieces and review all submissions.
Post on Instagram once a week. Post a blog post once a week. Start working on an emergancy supply of blog posts.
Bonus - Read and review piece for an indie author friend of mine!
