WHAT WENT WELL
Lots got done! Making focus blocks helped get some major progress. I also did a quick mid week checkin wherein I reassessed my goals for the rest of the week. While I had dropped the habit last quarter due to the world being as it is, I know that it helps me get more done, as shown in this weeks results.
WHAT DIDN'T GO WELL
Obviously the exercise went in the gutter. It was a particularly stressful week at work, with one big project reaching a deadline. During lunch and after work I destressed by reading (I finished one book and am a quarter through two more) and gaming. Logically I know that exercise releases endorphins which help with stress management, however it's hard to remind myself of such after a long day.
Continue to have hour long focus blocks scheduled on my calendar.
Prioritize exercise after work.
Consider breaking the exercise into more bite sized chunks.
